Locations is great. Room was highly overpriced. Ended up paying. Everyone very pleasant and very helpful. Any requests met with a smile and everyone strived to take of things the way I would expect from this type of hotel. We felt at home. The staff recognized us and addressed us by our name. The restaurant was very good and food offered at the bar was very good also. Our time spent there was most enjoyable. Great location, in the best bar and restaurant district, close to shops and the waterfront. The staff were exceptional, happy and flexible to deal with requests and offer help. Very accommodating.

We've sent you an email so you can confirm your subscription. Love PG, was born there, so always nice to go back. I was, however, not happy with our stay at The Fraser Inn! It comes across as a dirty city. Seems to be a lot of homeless people. Seeing my great grandchildren was the highlight. The length of time it took to get to PG from TO. Love White Spot. Ate there most often. We rented a car, so getting around was easy. I lived there in the '70's, so knew where I was going.

Some good eateries and a wonderful brew pub called Cross Roads brewing. Good beer, good food and a great vibe! Had a good meal at the twisted cork but it is a bit pricey and we felt a bit rushed.

  • There is a very lovely modern Art Gallery called Two Rivers. A great Saturday framers market. The shopping is good. There are events to attend depending upon when you travel there. There are some wonderful little restaurants around there like the Copper Pig and the Keg, which is always a favorite. The pulp mill smell often settles in the down town core and i do not find that pleasant. We have found PG to be a great layover spot for us when going on longer trips as well as a fun little "local" getaway when we are craving some quality family time.

We really enjoyed the Train and Forestry Museum with our young son and plan on going back again soon. The local pool is really fun and a good way to tire out young travellers before making a long drive. All Of the walking trails around PG have been fabulous for us to explore with our dogs and kids, the only issue there is there seems to be an issue with people having no control over their offleash dogs.

We really enjoy the China Cup Buffet for our meals. We tried a place called Tandoori Something at the Spriceland Motel and it was awful We were the only customersandagill had to go find a server to take our order, we had to ask multiple times for water refills and we had to change our son's diaper on the table. Cozy beds. Front desk staff were very friendly.

We initially didn't get two sets of keys until the third day but they personally went out and had them cut for us. The pub in the hotel had a homey small town feel.
